So everytime the girls at work ask me to look for something I always say..  no  I don't think I'd ever find one of those and then the very next day Sure enough.. I'm walking thru a Goodwill and there it is.. right there in front of me..  Just like the time I found that mini frig we use all the time for $12.99  you're my good luck shopping fairies....

 Without further ado...
I present my Goodwill find of the day..  and since I have but 1 follower.. this is written especially for you.. you know who you are. 

Look what I found..  for 12.99 with a 20 % off coupon.. making it a total of. $10.40   Are you ready .. are you really ready???     Oh yes it is... Oh yes..  it's the George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Grilling Machine.

FAMILY SIZE  !!!! with all the parts, and I plugged  it in and it works.  ye-aaah....!!!!

But wait that's not all..    included absolutely free!!!! ...  yes!!!!..hold your breath for this one.....  it's a Salton Belgium Waffle maker in pristine condition... 

Score.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

St Vincent De Paul.. my new favorite store... somebody Stop me.!!!!!

Well of course I just had to stop by my local St Vincent De Paul store on my way home last night..  they had a whole new truckload of cool stuff... &  Just my luck there was some darn man loading it up just as I got there..  "greedy man"..    In all fairness it was after work and they told me they were getting a truck today.. so SHAME on ME..!!    I went to work instead of thrift shopping.. 

Someday hopefully it will be the other way around..

The upside is that there were a couple things that I had been eyeing  last week that were SITTING OUT BACK in the alley for the taking..because they didn't sell..   Is that unbelievalbe or what?    .. In all fairness I made the lady an offer.. and now it's mine.

It's the dresser I hate to love..    it's not even in bad shape..   

 Black or White.  any votes.??  

  I recently did one almost like it.. ..  .I made it white.

See..  here that one is with a little nite stand to match..  ..  this one has gone off to college .  Bye bye..

 This dresser stagnated in my garage  forever but I was kinda sad to see it go once I finished it. 

So of course when I saw it's twin sitting out back all lonely and unwanted..  I had to bring it home with me. 

My husband just rolled his eyes and said.. " oh no ,,,it's baaaack"  the dresser that won't go away..

My other find was this Big ole Edith Ann Rocker.. Make it black.???.  ya think? ??

I need some ideas on the seat tho.. the cane is ripped..    Can you buy the cane in sheets?? ..and where.??

 Maybe I'll just put a wood seat on it and be done with it..  I like it.

I sooo did not need any more projects..

Goodwill & Thrift Store finds..

Ok  .,.. I have my work cut out for  me...   when is it going to cool off so I can get back to work??  I need my motivation from last week..   lol  I usually look for projects that aren't going to last much past a weekend..or two..  things that just need a coat of paint are my favorite.

Here are the projects waiting for transformation in my garage.

Dresser from St Vincent De Paul..

Black or white????    Any ideas anyone??

Little round table that got canibalized for the Headboard Bench project.. I am going to do some crazy stenciling  on it and maybe a clock face on the top.??  .. Goodwill.

Tiny Armoire....  I'm thinking Celery Green with some sort of stenciling.. and distressing... new knobs of course...   a good cabinet for sewing and craft items..???

 

2 chairs  from St Vincent De Paul..  
They need to be black...   with some pretty patterned seats...   currently my mother has no chairs.. so..   these two   along with ....

THESE 2   will make 4 chairs for her kitchen table.


Matching cushions on these cheap little Ikea Chairs,
that I got at the Goodwill .. will do my mother just fine.


The gold chair there is a Panda Express Chair.. right? 

I always admire the sturdy little chairs in that restaurant.  Now I have 1 of my very own.. I think it will make a good desk chair for my mother since she doesn't have a desk chair anymore either..   Poor mom..

Moving right along,      ....


The Wierd Armoire that someone made..  and cleverly used 2 shutters for the doors...   this is the heaviest and sturdiest thing ever.... it would even be good for tools...  if I loose interest.. ??  it can stay in the garage. 


and then last but not least my favorite project right now..  and the next one I plan to work on is THIS armoire...

Check out the detail at the top..very pretty...  just a crummy color at the moment.

This one is definitely going to be Black with some new knobs and a little distressing.. it is very sturdy and heavy .

So there are my weekend projects for the next say.????..  5 weekends. ( months.) (years) .   ???

 Of course I will still be shopping for MORE projects...  these will be done before you know it.   

Printing your own Goodwill coupons..

Great news.. I dont have to keep junk in my truck to donate..  I can print as many Goodwill 20% off coupons as I want.   http://www.goodwillaz.com/   I am in Arizona so  technically this may only be good advice in Arizona..  search your state to see if they have the same offer.   I love it.
